Culture and travel are closely interlinked. Throughout world history,culture was transmitted through travel. Whether it was intrepid travelers like Marco Polo or explorers like Columbus, the constant interaction of people though travel was one of the way by which cultures, clashed and coalesced over time. As new modes of travel evolved and millions began to move from place to place, a new global culture has evolved.
